day 36 on Muscovy eggs and no babies.

My muscovy duck has been sitting on her first eggs for 36 days now, i candled them earlier today and there is no sign of internal pipping. when i candled them i did see little air bubble thingies, it didn't show up in a pic, but here is a drawing of what it looked like.

and there were some odd dark spots inside of the air pockets, not beaks from pipping. the dark spots were square-shaped

and when i wasn't candling i noticed strange dark spots on the eggs, it looked like the dark stuff was just under the egg shell..

and some eggs had these weird half circle things in the air bubbles




do you think that the ducklings will start pipping or are they dead?

i'm so stressed out about the eggs hatching, that i can't sleep.

P.S. she had 16 eggs at first, but she ate them so there are only 6 left...

okay, thanks! this is the first time i have dealt with duck eggs so i have no idea what i'm doing...a few days ago an egg was crushed so i opened it up to see how big the duckling was and it seemed way too small for being 33 days old...so i hope the others are just behind in development and not dead..

dear, the same thing happened to me....all eggs were spoiled and not brooded.
did you find out the reason why it happening so? can you consult me with good measures to hatch next time?
