day 5 bloody chick bottom

my 25 meat chicks from welp were doing great... this morning one had a bloody butt. looks like the umbilical cord was bloody... then the butt. it has bloody stool as well. doesn't seem to want to eat or drink much. i washed it up and separated it.

is this damage done by others? or is this an illness?

any counsel is welcome!

Umbilical cord? If it still has that attached, it's not a healthy chick anyway. But other than that, it sounds like an illness. Possible though that the others detected it's weakness and started pecking it. Bloody poop usually is associated with disease, coccidiosis. Is the feed medicated?

chick is dead. came home to a little stiff body. earlier when trying to force feed a bit it had muccusy/bloody stuff came up. i'm thinking he just wasn't right inside...
