This egg is already on Day 5 of candling and I KNOW I should be seeing veins by now but dont. All the other eggs in its batch are the same way. We have 4 roosters who are constantly going after the hens so I thought for sure our eggs would be fertile. This is my first time incubating eggs please help!!!

Wait a few more days and then recheck. I do think I see a faint veining

I edited your pic a bit and I think I can see a faint blood ring (not a bad death ring, but the early developing one) here

Is that bad for day 5? I've seen a lot of people that have posted pics of their eggs at days 3 and 4 and you can see thick veining, that's why I was worried.

No, it's usually normal. What's your temp? Might it be a bit low?

This is normal for me. These are not my pics, day 4 eggs. What color is the eggshell? The darker they are, the harder to tell. Definitely give it a few more days, let us know what you find! Feel free to post more pics in a few days!
