Still looking good for 13 out of 18 of the mail order eggs. There are 2 of those 5 that might be looking good but still early to tell. I usually go at least 7 days before tossing any eggs. Got my new brooder today and am not super thrilled with it but will see what can be done to make it better.

They look great! I'm guessing it's day 11(?) how are they doing?
Thanks! Yes, today is day 11 - down to 12 eggs at this point. One went bad and the few others never developed. There is one more that is questionable that I'm keeping my eye on. Given these are shipped eggs, we'll see how it continues to go! Hopefully to get at least a few chicks out of this batch.

Update on the eggs - day 12. Got some dancing babies in there when rocking gently and waiting for a jig. Two may have potentially quit but no blood circles yet and no smell. 12 out of 18 are still going total. Here are three good looking babes with pretty blue/transparent light shells.

Those are great pics! Can’t believe how well you can see inside

Hopefully the chicks hatch and they lay equally blue and “transparent” eggs haha. I didn’t share the darker egg pics but they also looked great, just less camera exciting😁. I should probably post a video of rocking the eggs next time to show the babies dancing.

Update for day 16 - I have 9 pieces of 8 left (9 out of the original 18). I only had a few I didn't expect to quit actually quit so far (my original suspected good eggs were13/18). If the 9 hatch, it'll be a decent hatch of almost 70% hatch based on the eggs that were expected to develop. Will keep you posted as things get closer to pip/hatch!
