Day 7- anything?

Do you see development?? They have been in the incubator for 7 days. I swear I can slightly see something. This is my first time incubating, if you can’t tell lol. My light isn’t very great, and I can only see through 2 of my 9 eggs.
 
Looks like veins to me. You might find you get a better view if you candle from the other end of the egg or try moving the light around to different spots.

I tried many angles. 😭 My light to candle is just too weak for almost all of the eggs. Looks like I’m just going to wait and see what happens!
 
Try your phone light, my quail eggs do great but they are also tiny, haven’t tried bigger eggs so might not work. Is the red color from the light or shell color? Infertile eggs are usually green or yellow, red indicates blood (like shining it through your hand) which means development and life. As long as the eggs are getting darker it means development, if they just glow bright and never change (or stall out) then no development or a quitter is likely.

Yes I use my phone light too, works for most eggs except the very darkest ones if I use it in the dark.
