My wife and I are incubating eggs for the first time, and took a shot at candling after reading about it on here and other sites. The last babies we hatched were done with a broody hen, so we were pretty hands off with the process.
This time around we were super excited to candle and see what’s going on in there. But, as much as we like to think we know what we’re doing, we are still very new at this.
Here’s a video of the candling. I’m hoping some more experienced eyes can tell me if they see what we see, or maybe even something we don’t!
