Day old chick is yawning exessively and keeps stretching up and down

if he's a day old he shouldn't eat for a while he should be surviving off the egg yolk. It's really hard to find stuff on blockages in baby chicks

If you find a blockage tell me. carefully evaluate the chick and try your best to find out anything. Look for abnormalities like eye crust, heavy breathing, blockages, mucus, etc.

maybe. Chicks can't live without a heat source until 6 weeks so probably
