Day Old Chick Looks like it’s Convulsing

Looking for help. Received our day old splash marans from My Pet Chicken today. They’ve been eating, drinking, and warming under the brooder plate. They were vaccinated for Mareks.

One chick is behaving oddly, almost like it’s convulsing? In the video it’s the chick closest to the camera. It seems neurological?

The pee pads you are using don’t include an attractant for dog potty training do they? I’ve heard what ever chemical they use could affect chicks.

It also could be a form of wry neck. I would give it some B complex that contains thiamine and riboflavin, once a day, see if it helps for general neurological support, and most importantly vitamin E and a tiny bit of selenium to help the uptake of the E. Wry neck is often a vitamin E deficiency, which can come from parent stock. Article below explains all. Being shipped it could also be injury from shipping, but vitamins are the first thing to try. You may need to help the chick eat and drink until it can do so on it's own. Fingers crossed it resolves with vitamins.

That’s a good callout. These ones are medical supply ones for humans. I’ll def check all the packaging though!
