Hi everyone! I have four, one week old silkie chicks and another day old chick that hatched yesterday morning by surprise! She/he is beautiful and will either turn out to be blue or black. She came out of the shell pretty quickly and strongly so I never thought there would be an issue with her. She's not eating or drinking yet, but they don't really need to until day 3 correct? She's VERY loud and peeps a lot when she's awake. However, she has really poor balance and has trouble standing/walking. Her feet/toes
are straight and so are her legs, but she kind of leans to left when she's standing. She only stands still for a few seconds until she wobbles around and either catches herself or falls over. Sometimes she can't get up and just lays on her side. I can't keep her with the other chicks because if they just walk by her she falls over and they step on her
It kind of seems like her head is too heavy for her body because when she wobbles around, her head is close to the ground. My other chicks took a few hours-half a day to learn how to walk correctly but this one is taking longer. Should I be worried?
