Day old chick with slightly prolapsed vent after mild pasty butt

How is she doing?
She is still in the brooder in a walled off section, she can still interact with her buddies
She’s still very active, eating drinking and pooping, she does strain a bit to poop but still can
I have to clean her butt a couple times a day
It seems that only the top of her vent is poking out and the bottom half is normal so it’s not blocked
It’s not healing much just staying the same
Should I put something on it to try decrease inflammation?

If she's straining mix a little coconut oil into her wet mush feed for a couple of days.

Yes, I'd put ointment on the vent to help keep with inflammation and to keep poop from sticking.

Apply a little coconut oil or anti-inflammatory ointment/cream to the vent to help with inflammation and to keep poop from sticking.

She is acting very normal, eating and drinking, I cleaned her butt but I am worried about the dark reddish tissue
What breed is she? I'm used to that dark as silkies have black skin. A prolapsed vent on a silkie is black too.

This took about a week of three to four times a day putting generic Preparation H on it, pushing it in, and holding it for a few minutes. I've only seen this once in around 1K chicks I've hatched, so I couldn't even guess what caused it. She wound up being fine, although even as an adult, her vent stuck out a slight bit more than they usually do.

She’s a pekin who has pale skin, her vent returned to a better colour after I removed the initial blockage

It looks like the tissue is going to scab up and fall off, it looks half detached already and the underlying vent looks normal, and she can still poop

So there's a scab?

The oil or ointment will help loosen that up where it can fall off on it's own.

I can’t get a great photo without disturbing her so I’ll try to describe as best I can, it seems like the top half of her vent has flipped out a little, about size of two pinheads, the base of the protrusion is looking darker and scabby, tip is still pink, the base of the protrusion is starting to detach, poops come out from underneath the protrusion not through it, due to detaching it kind of is hanging to one side and poop is coming out easier due to that, the tissue underneath the protrusion seems pink and healthy like a mostly normal vent

I did put some ointment on it
