This duckling just hatched yesterday. It pipped in the side of the shell, not anywhere near the air sac. I’ve never seen anything quite like it before.

Because it was piping in the wrong location it needed a little bit of assistance to hatch. It been born about 16 hours. It’s been flipping over and holding its neck very strangely. When it tries to walk it lifts it’s neck straight up and then falls over on its left side. 76327A7D-CA82-4AF5-98E3-3358FFE7A5E1.png 70ACCF1D-9FF2-4DEF-9F37-9428FDC3B9C9.jpeg

Possibly a vitamin deficiency from inside the egg.. commonly known as wry neck.. and maybe a good place to start..

https://www.fresheggsdaily.blog/2014/04/preventing-and-treating-wry-neck-in.html

I would go straight for a good supplement rather than worrying about "natural" sources for treatment purposes.

Is it also splay legged or is that just how the pics look?

I have rooster booster from TSC, would that help?
That's a brand not a product. They have several products including Poultry Cell and Poultry Booster among others.. but yes, I'd likely try it. (without electrolytes is a better choice in my opinion, but I'd still use it if that was all I had)

Does the guaranteed analysis include E, selenium, & thiamine? Since those are the target supplements?

Here is another thread that might have more tips..

This link has some indication of what the thiamine dosage needs are.. but please verify accuracy..

It's possible it may be also be a deformity. I have seen some suggestions of neck brace for support.. but.. alternatively, I wonder if @Miss Lydia has any more feedback than what I've been able to offer? TIA
