I got 6 total chicks. Two with markings like this. They were supposedly sexed and we're in the bin for egg production pullets. I looked at wellsummer and brown leghorn but doesn't appear to have enough brown on its back. Any ideas?

Possibly production red or red stars. They start out yellow as chicks and are very high in egg production :)

I guess that's the only responses. So either everyone else agrees or doesn't know. LOL

x 3 but give it another 6 to 8 weeks or so and post new pictures. Usually the older they get the easier they are to identify because their adult feathers start growing in. We might also be able to tell you if they are roos or pullets by then too. [IMG]

We got 3 of the same from TSC. I'm betting they are comets. That's what I think mine are. ;)
