Day old Silkie/polish cross

DNA testing is 11.99, I did it for three of my tolbunt Polish when I hatched. I had results in about 5 days. It was relatively simple, the place I used is this one: https://iqbirdtesting.com

I had three girls, I guess I got lucky!

We put the rest of the eggs (Turkey, ducks and chicken) in the hatching incubator just yesterday. I’m anxious to see what the other polish/silkie chicks turn out like!!! Ohh and the ducks as well (we have two Peking females, one mallard female and a mallard drake). The duck eggs that we have been finding were from the Peking gals (white).
I’ll post pics as they hatch

Aw man, I'm definitely not wanting to pay for testing, so I guess I'll just have to sit tight! This one is one week older than the others and has hard feathering

Sorry for jumping on but some of my polish x silkies have Dino spikes I’ve been told that it doesn’t mean their roos is this true?

No that’s not true. I’ve got a polish cross hen that has the same spikes. The first and second chick look to be roos

How do you tell please? I’m normally a silkie keeper but now have polish an so now hatching polskies not sure what to look for with the cross ones still learning

I’m going based on the larger combs so it’s not a for sure that they are boys, sometimes pullets will develop faster. If they are boys watch for pointed feathers that will come in on their crest, hackles and wings.
Here are pictures of polish cross chicks showing a female then a male based off combs
