Day Old vs. Juvenile

Has anyone worked out the feed cost of raising chickens from day old through 17 weeks?

Looking at purchasing more birds for the flock (Rhode Island Red). I see I can order day old or juveniles. Juveniles are $10 more than day old. I'd be interested in ordering juveniles only if the feed cost work out to be the same.

Two 5lb bags of medicated feed lasted me forever when I had my day old chicks. Just remember it takes longer for them to start laying.
