yeah it does, but it went through the green eggs. I wish i had marans eggs to test it on. I found a person to get some marans eggs from and they are some very high end eggs even though i did not need them to be.
I'll have to test it another time on them. Do you have any in your mix? If so, i want to hear if it shines through them.

I'm on day 9 with my blue slate turkey eggs & day 8 on the black neck pheasants. I also just put 18 frizzle eggs in the hatcher. Good Luck everyone on your hatches.

I use an LED flashlight to candle, too. It works great!

I candled on Thursday and it looked like some of my Blue Orps are clear. I'm going to candle again tomorrow and see if I can tell for sure.

Lurky Great deal on the flashlight. I paid too much $$$$ for my LED surefire that has 80 lumens from lowe's, but it works great.

I'm on Day 7 today for 3 BO eggs and candled tonight. Two have great veining and I'm not sure about the third, but leaving it and I'll candle again at day 10. One was really pulsing. It was so cool! It was so good to see some life b/c my first hatch batch was a total flop.

I have 15 Buff Bantam Ameraucana eggs that just went in the bator last night.

No lurky I dont have any, mine are all light to dark brown, one ee, and one white ( which im assuming is a WLH )
Mabye when the bator is empty we coulod go in halves on some seeing how your so close to me
