Day19 Egg ACCIDENT

Hello. Rookie error made. I've got a broody hen sitting on my neighbours eggs. I accidentally removed a marked egg (didn't see the cross in the dark, ughhh). It was day 19. It's been out 12 hours now... going to assume it's no good now

I wasn't expecting all 4 to lay but I dramatically reduced the odds!!!

Put the egg back under the hen. It is most likely still viable.

Oh good, I put it back as soon as I realised. It was a fairly warm day yesterday and it came inside so hopefully... I'll report back.

They can be without heat for 12hrs, some people still hatch if without heat for longer.
