Daylight and Egg laying

Hello Again,
So I have 4 golden comets and 4 speckled Sussex that are 22 weeks old. One of my golden comets started laying a week ago , but so far she’s the only one. We live in Vermont and it was pretty dark by 5pm. I’m wondering if I should put a light in their coop from 5-8pm?

My understanding of you are going to add light, is that it needs to be added in the morning so the lights don't suddenly go off and the chickens can't find their way around. They don't see well in the dark.
