Days are getting longer!

My dad used to always be the first to announce the days were getting shorter... I will not do that, (Debbie Downer doings...) I will tell you the days are getting longer... you're welcome!

Like, what, 27 seconds more daylight?

I looked at a sunrise/sunset website. The extra light will all be in the evening until about mid-January. In fact, the sunrise gets later by about 4 minutes before it gets any earlier than it is now. I'm totally ok with that! Let's hear it for spring! Oh, right, winter just started.
