I have NOOOO idea what was going on in her little brain that day. She also lays my BIG eggs. thehen I call Red on this video is the hen that pooped the screw a few weeks back and I though we were going to loose. She is still not back to running around and being a 'happy little hen', but she eats, poops and is generally happy. Doenst run around, and stops a lot. She still hasnt laid an egg since.

I've heard my girls make the same sound, usually when there climbing all over me to say hi and see if I have treats for them. Maybe it's just a happy little hen greeting?

yup. that's exactly what i think it is.

That sound is what I call their "Happy Sound" when they are quite contented. I absolutely love it! My heart melts when any of mine make that lovely trill.
