Mochi is sooo cute, thanks for the pictures, my Ameracauna hen angel looks very close to Yuki, so alike they could be sisters, I will post a pic later, but @RoosterWhisperer and I are going to go on a hike sometime today.

Is there any way you can sex silkies young?
we had a black silkie roo, his name was pandy, but he died awhile back.

I don’t know many ways, usually you have to do a DNA test to sex them properly. I think at about 7 weeks, you can start looking for streamers on a cockerel’s head, and roosters generally are bigger, I think, but not always.
So sorry for your loss.

They all are fairly friendly, though Mochi, Minnie, Boba, and Kiki are still pretty shy
