Thank everyone for your good wishes, prayers and kind comments while my daughter was in Iraq the past year.

She's been home about 10 days now. It's actually been a bit of a rough go for her...more so than I thought it would be. She is SO glad to be home, but at the same time she is really missing her Army buddies. We have all had re-integration training and I understand that some depression is to be expected. She knows it too...but it is still hard to deal with. She is just taking it one day at a time.

I think the biggest issue is not knowing what to do with herself each day. She was so accustomed to structure and right now there isn't any. She'll be starting her senior year of college the second week of May, so that should give her a sense of direction!!!

I would so appreciate if you could remember her whenever you pray. Her name is Robin...but God knows who you mean!!

Thanks so much...

I thank Robin for her service. I was a miltary brat and now I'm a Air force wife. I will pray for Robin today and as I her the robins singing outside, as the Lord leads me,

blessings to you, Robin and everyone close to you.

Heartfelt prayers for your daughter. My husband is retired from the Navy, and he still misses it sometimes, especially the structure. He gets so frustrated with the haphazard way we civilians wander through life!

decompression takes time. When she looks lost and listless, ask her what her DI would have her doing right now. Give her the structure back and slowly remove it, helps some folks

My sister is on her 2nd tour in Afghanistan, and had 1 in iraq. Whenever she gets a week off or so she gets like this
