De Beaking Quail

I've have done this I clipped but hit vein didn't bleed to death just nicked. So now I use a lady nail file and just square it off,

For a really bad quail I have a bantam chicken pecking clip they are pence. Work fab once on right. Stops the full on attack to bleed. Doesn't stop the fighting just a lot less damage caused so far so good. Most quail. Just tip works but I have one hen who is nasty as she is a silver I need herto breed from. She hates the silver cock is fine with the texans.

they caused me the same problem every day,blood is all over the cage edge even in the food area,they pecked themselves every day at the beck of each other which cause them to lose a lot of blood....

yet i cut their beak the blood wont stop they are bleeding like hell
