DE in the House?

Anyone use DE in their house for pests? We just moved to a house that is infested with carpet beetles and have been doing research online about how to get rid of them. (I would be thrilled if we could just cut down the population a bit!!!) One of the sites said to dust the edges of the carpets and baseboards with DE to kill them.

Just curious if anyone has used it indoors.

Yep. I use food grade DE. Won't hurt you or your critters.

I have found it will dry my hands out if I get it on me, but it's not a major issue.

How much do you use? Do you dust until the carpet is white? Just sprinkle a bit? Thanks!
