So, I saw roundworms in the poop. I clean every day. I went to Tractor Supply go “Goat fenbendazole“, 100MG, they had no chicken. I was told same thing but use calcs based on flock weight. I did, pretty good with the ML I have used from 4 days. Then, I read that you should discard eggs for 14 days after end of the 5th day of treatment. I have discarded all eggs while on trreatment. Is it really 14 days? From last 24 hour dose?

Safeguard Liquid Goat Dewormer 10% dosing is 0.23ml per pound of weight given orally once daily for 5 days in a row.

The withdrawal period is 14days from the last dose, so it would be a total of 19days.

You were told "same thing" but use calcs based on flock weight - what does that mean?

I had to calculate the weight of each chicken to determine MG to put in a gallon of water since it was a mg for goats. It would up being three ML per gallon of the kind I bought. I hate throwing away eggs for 14 days. Just trying to get some opinions from others with the same scenario. I Likley will still do discard continuing on Sat to 14 day Sat. But, seems like such a waste.

Ah, I see.
Safeguard Liquid Goat dewormer is usually given orally to each bird by weight and at a rate of 10-50mg/kg, it doesn't mix well with water.

While there is a Safeguard Aquasol© for Poultry on the market and it is the same active ingredient Fenbendazole, it is not the "same" as the Safeguard Liquid Goat Dewormer. For all intents and purposes, Aquasol© is a suspension designed to go in the flock's water and it is dosed at 1mg/kg of weight going by the flock's total weight (which needs to be atleast 22lbs or more).
This very low dose of Aquasol© treats Roundworms Only and is FDA Approved with no withdrawal period. Aquasol© is also 200mg/mL. So several differences there, including that Aquasol© is not that economical, maybe once it's been on the market longer it might be, but doubtful.

Hopefully your flock has drank enough of the mixed water that has the Goat Dewormer in it to be beneficial.
