Isn't DE cancerous to human? Why put it on chickens to kill parasites and such if it could cause cancer to us? Or is there a safe brand?

The food grade DE is not cancerous to humans as far as I know. The other kind that is used in pool filters might be but I doubt that as well. DE is just ground up fossils so I don't know why it would be cancerous. IDK

. Mom kept tellin me that its cancerous- but that might have been the kind that they put inthe pool. Thank you.
