Dead baby bird

So I let my five week old chickens outside and they found a baby bird that fell down from a nest in a tree in my backyard. They were running around carrying it and trying to eat it thinking it was food. I have two other chickens 3 weeks old and I don’t know what to do because I know that other birds carry diseases. Should I put them back in the same cage?? What should I do?

When it is dead, it is meat and therefor - food.
Wild birds can and do carry disease but they can get that just from wild birds pooping in their run, food or water.
I wouldn't worry too much.
