Ugh. Sorry. There was a body found near our place once . . . cut in half and in two separate garbage bags. You can't let these things scare you, though. As wrong and horrifying as it is, it is not the norm, and most people are basically decent. I know that can be easy to forget, but it's true.

They just extended the road closures for about 1.5 miles south and another 3/4's of a mile north. Crazy.

It's very eerie when something like that happens. In June a young girl's naked body was dumped on a back road by a nearby high school. We live in a very rural area where you don't expect something like that. We are near the freeway though. It was very sad for our community.

I remember seeing that story on America's Most Wanted!!!!! Well unless there were more than one life guard abducted from a pond.
