Dead bugs I killed as feed?

This year I bought a DynaTrap insect killer. It attracks the bugs with a blue light and when they fly in to the blue light area they get sucked down in to a basket by a fan where they eventually die. I have a ton of dead bugs, tons of moths. Is it OK to feed the dead bugs to my flock?

I collect and kill Japanese beetles and stink bugs using water with a little bit of liquid dish soap in it. Is it safe/palatable to offer these dead bugs to chickens? (I haven’t started my new flock yet.)

I'd be concerned about the soap as well.

I do trap Japanese beetles in the summer by simply swatting them into a cup/pot of water. They struggle around on the surface, but have never gotten out. Then I simply offer them to the chickens and they happily go "bobbing for beetles".
