the tree planting idea is cool but definitly do not eat her in addition to who knows what killed her all the blood has seeped into the muscle ad she would not taste good anyway. If you really want nothing wasted and dont plant trees got to a wooded area and chuck her deep into the tree line, she will be food for something. Sorry if that is too morbid. I am not trying to be insensitive or anything like that I know she was a pet. But I have done this with eggs that the chick died in and even a chick or 2 I found dead in the morning because I just could not stand to put it in the trash and new that it would only be a matter of minutes that some hungry creature got a meal out of it. Circle of life I suppose.
