DEAD CHICKEN MADE NOISES

Yesterday I found one of my chickens dead in the pen, she was stiff, I opened her eye kids and her eyes were pale and she wasn't moving, so I assumed dead, I left her in a bad in the garage for the night and today was burring her when I start putting heavy dirt on the body IT MADE A NOISE LIKE A GASPING NOISE I panicked and quickly got her out the bad and dirt, but she was still dead, I checked her eyes still pale not moving, her legs and body were stiff, and I thought the noise came from anther chicken near by so I re burryed her and everytime I put pressure in the dirt on her body it made a noise!!!? What is this!!!? Have I just buried my chicken alive!!? She's defiantly dead!!! ?? :O

It's the weight of the dirt pushing the air from her lungs, probably going throught her "voice box" making a sound when it is expelled. think of it as if she is saying good bye
