Dead chicken...

I went out to the coop this morning to find my beautiful buff Orpington beheaded. Feathers all over the ground... Has this happened to any of your chickens? What do you think did it?

SO sorry for your loss! There are a few predators that this is a calling card for. Mink and Weasel, are mostly the ones that do this. But it can also be done by a skunk, owl or raccoon. Start looking very closely how it got in and fix the problem. If you have other chickens it will be back.
