Dead chicken

ok so I go out to take care of the chickens and ducks and find my only leghorn dead I don’t know what killed her but that is the third chicken this year that has died suddenly and I take them to the fairs every year so I hope it is not a bad disease any suggestions

I'm sorry for your loss
Can you refrigerate the body and send it to your state lab for testing?
The only way to know for sure what is going on would be to have a formal necropsy and get the results from that. If it's disease you sure don't want to be taking birds to fairs and spreading it around so finding out what's happening is the only way to go.
