Dead Chicken

So I went out to check on the girls today and one was dead. I have idea how it died either. It didn't have any marks on it or anything. My mom said it looked like it had snot coming out of its nose (I was holding it by its feet at this point, already dead). Anyone know why a chicken would just die? She was only 7 months old.

There are many, many reasons she could have died. Without more details it's impossible to even guess. I am sorry for your loss.
