Dead chicken ? :(

Hello, I have come home to find quite an unpleasent scene one of my hens laying dead by its run it had a few scratches and blood round the face and neck but I have no idea of what might of caused it's death. Do you have any idea's ?

Sorry, that is a scene no one wants to see but, it happens often. Maybe someone came along and scared the predator away before it did worse things to her, or dragged her away.

Now that is knows you have chickens, it will be back.

Oh ok Thank you I have now found out the cause of this death it was a neighbors dog
