TWO MORNINGS IN A ROW THERE HAS BEEN A DEAD HEN ON THE ROOST.NO SIGNS OF TRAUMA AT ALL. WHAT COULD IT BE?

Welcome to BYC. Sorry about your hens. Can you give a few more details about age, how long you have had them, if they were eating and drinking, and if they were free ranged or not. I would go check your feed right away to see if it could have developed mold which could cause sudden illness. It may smell odd or be a little dusty or blue-green. Also if there are any dead animals around where they could have eaten some and gotten botulism. In your other chickens look at their droppings for diarrhea or blood which might indicate coccidiosis, or for any not eating, or standing around hunched or alone.
