Dead gosling

I'm heart broken and trying to figure what killed my 4 week old gosling. All was fine when I locked the crew up for the night. This morning found my gosling dead. He looked peaceful like he was sleeping. No marks on him all appendages counted for
Would anyone have an idea???

Sometimes they just die because something wasn't formed right and it finally gives way.
