When I was a kid, we had chickens on the horse farm where I boarded my horse. We would catch them, put their heads under their wings and rock them to sleep. Then we would place them in random spots around the farm...in the driveway, on a horse's back..... and they would "sleep" there for several minutes. Endless amusement!

omg. i had a hen who would do that in your arms if you where sitting down.
once my little sister thought that it was funny to put her to sleep like that on
one of those little kid fold-out beds! it was hilarious!!
