Dead duck egg?

Hello I am at day 23 of Rouen duck egg incubation. 2 of the eggs were almost completely dark. One sad one I saw a huge clear area with a piece of a vein in it. There have been a funny smell coming from the incubator.Is it dead? Should I take it out?Help plz

I hope you followed scrambled please advice ... Wrap in something absorbent, bag it several times in plastic bags & toss ASAP or bury it far away from the house. It smells cause it's rotting & rotting eggs explode ... You really don't want that happening in the incubator, it'll contaminate the rest of your eggs.

I threw the egg out and the embryo wasn’t at the right size
