So we are now on day 10 with my duck eggs. 1 egg in particular has got me worried. I candles on day 7 and it looked super healthy but today I’ve candled it and it’s gone blotchy. Can anyone give me some advice on whether it’s dead or not? I’ve attached pics of day 7 and day 10.

Second pic if exactly what a dead one looks like.
I often get some that go bad around day 10. I'm yet to figure out exactly why.

If it’s in the same position and no change you’ll know for sure it’s dead. I don’t see veins, to me that’s the give away. But, being extra cautious, I’d wait a little longer to make sure development has stopped.

Thanks everyone. I thought it is probably dead and there’s absolutely no movement. Luckily I have 1 healthy on still going and a second that may be fertile but I’m still not 100% sure yet
