Dead Guinea

I'm so sorry to hear that. I just found one of my hens dead in the coop a couple days ago. Her name was Captain.

With Captain I noticed she was hesitant to perch a few days before, like she wanted to lay an egg, so I didn't think much of it. When I found her she seemed swollen in her belly and had a runny nose, so it must have been the disease the has been killing my older hens who have lowered immune systems.

If it was a female it could be egg binding or some other issue caused by eggs. Sometimes they can just choke though, or have some other issue that can't be prevented like a tumor.

Again, I'm sorry you lost you're guinea. Hope the others are doing well!
