Ha! I didn't know there was a singer called Kiersten... My niece, kiersten wanted one of the chickens named after her, so I called her Kierst-Hen

One of my 11 month old chickens died today. I have been to the coop and run four or five times today. Everyone seemed fine. Went down about 20 minutes ago and one of them was dead. There's not a mark on her. Any idea how I can find out what happened??

You can send chickens to your state lab, if in the US, for a necropsy to find out exactly why they die.
