Yes we do! I'm tempted yet again, despite the mishaps! There are a few large breeders in the UK and when you ask, many peoples hens are related to these. My nearest neighbour with quail managed to inbreed because of this and they were hatched with three legs

. So I was determined to get a clear bloodline, so I got myself some Hungarians!
That's a great tip to candle before you set, for cracks. Thank you. I will most certainly do that.
It's been a great learning curve doing this hatch.

For some reason my BRs eggs would get to day 20 and die. I had 60 eggs from them. They were all %100 fertilized! All died day 20. I'm trying again for the first time for the hatch-along!

They were in my bator. I also tried under broody hen... Same thing all on day 20 :/

I wrote down what day I put them in so I knew.

Is there a way to check is my chick is DIS? We only had one of our eggs that made it to lockdown and I have seen no signs of anything, and I'm starting to think we even lost that one. Even with meticous checking humidit.
