I found my orloff rooster dead upside down 2 feet up off the ground with both of his feet in the chicken wire. I'm wondering how this could have happened? It seems so bizzare. Has anyone else had this issue with chicken wire? I have pics of it but I'm not sure if I should post them. I'm heartbroken

Pictures may help. I’m sorry for your loss. :hugs
Thank you. He was truly the most gentle and protective rooster. I loved him so much! Here's one of him alive and sadly the ones found of him :(

He was getting slightly picked on by his sons and we were in the process of separating them. It was never anything too intense but maybe he was running from them and got stuck? It's all hypotheticals but it seems to be the most likely scenario. It's so wild he got stuck in that position though. I'm assuming he couldn't breathe because of being upside down :(

Is his lower foot through the wire, or just grasping it? I'm wondering if he could have been fighting with something on the oother side of the fence?
It looks like it's just through. But there's electric fence surrounding to protect them from bears and foxes ect because they are in the north Georgia mountains with lots of predators, so I'm not sure anything could have reached him easily.

Omg so when my brother went to get him he was alive. He wasnt moving or responding at all when my mom was trying to get a response. Not sure if he was passed out or what but he seems fine now? It's all so bizzare but I guess he got stuck in a position that wasn't life threatening. He wasn't thrashing or anything. He can even walk fine now
