Dead pullet what could have happened images.

Hi I walked outside and looked in the run and my pullet is dead could my chickens pecked it to death or is this an animal and if so what animal I have a run with a fence and netting on top but there is a shed right next to the run where something could fit through but I don’t know

ANY hungry animal could have had a snack.
Your run is not secure, correct?

Well, we know it wasn't a fox they carry them away ! And most of the time foxes kill poultry in the spring when they are feeding the kits . Racoons on the other hand will kill all in the pen most of the time . I Maybe possum - O , Weasel , or Rat . Any tracks around ?

We do see tracks like a paw bigger than my cat so probably a possum, racoon.

Your run is not secure, correct?

No it is secure but we have a shed right next to it with a tiny opening on the bottom to get in the run and out so that is what the animal probably did. We will be fixing that

We do see tracks like a paw bigger than my cat so probably a possum, racoon.

I don't understand why they do not have animal tracks where all those little faces are . It would be helpful if I could pop one up and you could see the track .
