Can anyone suggest a suitable mite treatment that I can purchase? My vet gave me some medicated stuff to treat an infestation in two new hens which has now gone, but I need a product I can buy and administer. I use Smite The Mite for red mite problems but need something else for other mite based problems.
Any help would be gratefully recieved.

    Your house!
Use Borax and Peroxide! It'll get rid of the mites on foots and combs. [IMG]

There are a variety of things you can treat with -

There is a poultry dust that you can buy at any farm store - that works wonders.

I use Ivermec Eprinex - it's a topical, .5cc is the dosage for a LF chicken, drip it on the skin at the base of their necks/back of the neck. It kills external AND internal parasites.
