Dealing with skunks

If there's no food in there, they will leave. can you get every food item, waterer, and chickens out without getting sprayed?
It's a cute family group, but not there!!!
Having to move a broody hen on eggs may or may not work for her, but those skunks are the priority right now! They will kill that hen too.

They have food, eggs galore and all the water they can drink. We were expecting the ducks to go in last night. We have Pekins and our assorted ducks. The family is having their buffet in the Pekin side. We were able to check on our brooding duck (an assorted,) so she's in the coop they aren't in. We were trying not to disturb the family because we don't want a stink fest in the pens. But they hey are happier than pigs in mud.

We were trying not to disturb the family because we don't want a stink fest in the pens but they didn't pay any attention to us. But they are happier than pigs in mud and right at home. I'm not sure how much they eat or drink but they're probably good for about a month.

Ouch! Never happened here, fortunately. Still, mama skunk will want to take them out at some time. Set up a game camera to watch?
Call your DNR too. And offer better food outside of this pen to lure them out?

Put some peppermint in the coop. You may have peppermint extract, which is used for cooking, or peppermint candy (candy canes). Most of the critters you don't want hanging around, like skunks, raccoons, opossums, weasels, ants, and others are repelled by peppermint.
