Dear Mother Nature,
I know playing jokes on rookies is always a fun time and rookies got to take their lumps. Do you really have to keep turning what I thought was hens into Roos? I don't mind having a boys club but did you really have to make it a 10:4 ratio. Could you please cut me a break? Thanks in advance!!!

On my last few hatches I have had about half hens and half roosters. I don't mind extra roosters because they will eventually be my dinner.

I actually have really good luck with vent sexing. The roosters that are hard to sex usually get eaten.
