Dear Ralphie,
I have an 18 year old son who will graduate this spring. He doesn’t have any big plans for his future, although he does know he can’t just continue to live at home and do nothing. (He would like to live in our basement and play video games for life, but luckily we don’t have a basement!) In your infinite wisdom, do you have any motivational words you could share to get his useless carcass moving?

Visit an army recruiter....force him to sign the papers in front of him...

Tell him he will win the latest video game when and if he finishes all the paperwork..

Take him home afterwards...

He will no longer be your problem....

Although you could be on some Gunny’s pooplist...

Start making a room for rent sign , about 2x as much as an apartment
and ask him if he wants first chance and if he needs help moving.

I forgot to mention....

when visiting the “recruiter” Find one that is behind on his quota..

They will be less picky Incase you need to sign your sons name to the papers.
