Death in Geese

I got 5 goslings from Ideal March 24 and all are growing like weeds and very healthy. I feed mine Mazuri Starter for 1 month then I add some chicken scratch, flock raiser, and sunflower seed chips for about 1 month then off the starter to Mazuri Maintanance or Purina Flock Raiser mixed with scratch, finch seed, and sunflower seed chips plus all the grass they want to eat

Sorry for your loss, these things can be so heart breaking.

I recieved 10 assorted geese from idea on 1-21-2010 they are all doing great and going to the ponds on their own.

I free feed flock raiser to all my birds and they are totaly free range.

My only complaint is i ordered 10 female ducks in two varities because i had too many males and 7 of them ended up being males also.

oh don't tell me that. That's why I ordered all females. I hatched 3 different sets of goose eggs and ended up with 10 males so I give up on eggs and ordered from Ideal after finding homes for 8 males since I already had 1 I purchase grown. I order a mate for each of the 3 different males and 2 female Poms just because I like them and extra females are better than extra males
