I have a confession. Yesterday at about 5:32, I was putting a water container inside my incubator. (Full of 16 day chicken eggs) It slipped out of my hands and I heard a crunch. Then I started screaming. When I gathered the courage to look at the eggs, two were badly cracked. I started screaming again. After closer inspection, I realized one was infertile, but one was leaking blood. Cue the screams. I tried to save the fertile egg, but it was too badly crushed to be glued together with candle wax. It was sad, but a learning experience. I realized that life is precious, and to never drop a heavy object on an egg.
